MISERY CAN'T BE SLEPT AWAY..DAMN!
Sleep away sleep away
Every minute of the day
Do you think that’s ok?
Only if you’re in the growing way!
1-2 hours fool that’s all you need
The rest of it must be from smoking weed
And a bad daddy who let you do as you pleased
Get up we don’t have time for you to disagree.
What? We’re just slaves of misery?
I don’t think I really disagree
But we don’t have time to get freed
So get up now we need to leave and get to Steve’s!
First we need to rake the leaves for Steve,
While babysitting Steve’s ridiculous niece
Knock down his hive of deadly bees
Take Bobby, John and Brian to little league
Plant Steve’s 100 acres with peas
Paint all those ugly eaves of Steve’s
And tear down Steve’s lot of sick dead trees.
Steve doesn’t pay much it’s true
But that’s the only work we have to do
Since all the corporations left for Baruu
There haven’t been any other jobs to do!
I miss the days of office work too
I felt much less blue it’s true
But those days are over nube
Those stupid politician fools
Left everyone seriously screwed
When
Hey, maybe we can move to Baruu
Go do the jobs we used to do
What? They’d kill us on site is that true?
Looks like there’s nothing more to do.
Forget it, let’s just go do what we gotta do
Maybe someday life here will improve
In the meantime we have to get on the move
Or we won’t even have Steve’s jobs to do
And then we won’t be able to buy food
And life will get even more seriously crude
So c’mon let’s get moving dude
No, sorry I’m out of weed too.
IT’S ONLY WEDNESDAY?!
What day is it today?
Damn only Wednesday?!
Two more days of work pain?!
I think I’m going to go insane!
Work is like a prison scene
Can be intensely obscene
Coworkers evil and mean
Bosses fueling the steam.
People scratching and climbing
Friends made for the designing
Of doing fast high rising
Notes kept in hidden writings.
Work ends and so do those friends
They’re only work friends in the end
Designing and devising to depend
On giving you up to avoid their own end.
Why can’t everyone just chill
And those that need it take a pill
Cause work life shouldn’t be uphill
When it’s what you need to pay the bills.
One day maybe it will end
Friends at work become real friends
Scratching no longer the trend
And work will be better time spent.
In the meantime back to it
There is no simple trick
Not a problem I alone can lick
If I try I’ll get the kick
That’s the truth of it.
Gotta just sit back and take this
Until the day I get the kick
Blamed for someone else’s sh*t.
Or decide to end all of it
By giving my own kick to split
This demons lair job pit.
QUIET WARRIORS OF VIRTUE HAVE A GREAT DAY
Today is going to be great
I don’t want to wait
Don’t want to hesitate
Getting to the part that’s great.
I’m ready to drop the hammer
So good it will make them stammer
Shake and shudder they give up
Success for them is much too tough
Against this most powerful stuff.
I’ll be polite when I drop the bomb
Let them get their senses back on
Sensing the reality of a new dawn
End to discrimination has again won.
Wait to hear the ding a ling
Wrongdoers pay and justice rings
That is greatest thing
Of ending a discrimination ring.
If you feel discomfort in this
It’s your soul you must enlist
To change your current friends list
Deleting everyone who throws bigot piss
And doesn’t want to end any of it.
And know it’s only money you see
That can end discrimination permanently
Companies think greedily
And payment causes good to seed
That’s just a factual reality.
Quiet punishments work they do
And make life better for me and you
Making sure that life is true
While working for the red, white and blue.
Hail the warriors of virtue
Who work for all of you
Not expecting you to ever have a clue
About all the good they do.
They work night and day
To end the discriminatory way
Corporate giants want to play
Securing more of your happy ways
To work free of discrimination everyday.
So when you hear a ding a ling
Stay quiet and wait to sing
Because someone’s done the right thing
And ended the discrimination sting
That could’ve ended everything
That ever gives us reason to sing.
And don’t worry about that money thing
Because that creates the right ring
For justice and good to be able to sing
What it takes to improve everything.
And when I drop this bomb today
Things will go the right way
And they will know they have to pay
For acting in a discriminatory way
And create a brand new day
In a corporation who didn’t want to play
The American way
And that is going to make my day.
