What’s wrong with those dudes
Who love to give out terrible news
That makes everyone feel so blue
Tell us the world is splitting in two.
It’s what the people want to hear?!
Who? Those people who always sneer
When any goodness draws near
Bad news they all jeer?!
Need to know what’s happening
So we can do something?
When there is never anything
That seems to be changing?

Who needs to know anymore
People die they live no more
All because of political whores
Ignoring the people for ever more.
Violence in the streets
Who does that info please
It surely isn’t me
Doesn’t make me feel happy
All that just makes me feel crappy.
Election news stays the same
Endless game there is no change
Education, Medicare, Social Security
Poverty, war, immigration, tax rates
Every election always the same game
Politicians working to continue their pay
Get a new job of doing nothing all day.
Who really needs to hear what they say
When they are all really the same
And they’re all totally lame
Keep the people in endless pain
Decades go by without any gains
Who needs to know about those pointless games.
Rich and wealthy news of dukes
Living the filthy rich life and feeling blue
Living life with nothing important to do
Act out to see their name in the news
Don’t need to know the news of their ridiculous blues.
If we lived life without the news
Without the terrible shout of blues
Telling us the horrible and crude
Life would be better for me and you.
Walk through life everyday
Without thoughts of a violent day
Without the news of ridiculous rich play
Or politics that suck and stay the same
No thought that humanity is headed for flames.
That’s a much better life game
So turn off the news and have nothing to say
About the atrocities that happen in the world everday
That is a better way
To play
Everyday.
And don’t worry a day
About whether you’ll pay
For not watching the news everyday
If you see everyone running away
Grab your gun and you’ll be ok
