The Devil Flys By

Pointing fingers pretend to care

Burning eyes with jealous stares

Swollen tongues become impaired

Wicked souls are bared.

The devil flys laughing to and fro

Reaping what he didn’t sow

Free will creates a fabulous show

So many wonderful wicked souls.

Ringing his skinny hands he impatiently waits

For the bared souls of poisoned hate

Whose evil eyes and tongues create

A ticket to ride through hell’s flaming gate.

Hoping wicked souls can never see

The evil in their wicked deeds

Collecting enough is the key

Devil wins God’s on his knees.

LIVING THE COLLEGE DEGREE

Why didn’t someone warn me

About the college degree

I didn’t see

That led to a job

that makes people crazy.

People compete and fight to get in

After degrees find out the terrible sins

Force that causes this job to spin

Not a place I expected to cringe.

Years and years I watch them fall

Few can really take it all

Brains exploding in the halls

People melt and start to ball

Lunatic bin calls.

I’m a strong willed survivor it’s true

But must’ve been something better to do

Than work forever in this dark crazy tomb

Watching others constantly fall to their doom.

Could’ve let me in on the secret of kin

Could’ve put it in the library bin

If I’d known I wouldn’t have jumped in

Would’ve given my life a different spin

Than working a job so full of sin it pushes

People into the lunatic bin.
