MY OWN CRIMINAL RAT CHAPTER 19

“What the fuck are you doing here?!” Rooskie screamed and for a second Johnny thought he saw red glowing eyes but Rooskie was headed towards him fast and furiously and all Johnny could think to do was to curl upwards with both feet outward and his hands outward like an overturned turtle. He felt Rooskie’s hand grabbing through to his sides while Rooskie let out a growling sound that made Johnny believe his life was over when suddenly a loud bang was heard and Johnny was certain he had been shot. Rooskie suddenly jumped off of Johnny his burly arms and hands retracting as he shot around and headed out the door one hand brushing over his hair to try to disguise the events that just took place between them.  Johnny frantically began looking for the bullet wound when he heard the woman’s voice and realized the bang was the sound of the back door.

He headed to the woman ready to tell her of Rooskie’s attack but before he spoke his first words the woman began scolding him viciously for being at the house and demanded he leave immediately. Her words pierced Johnny as he tried to plead with her and gain her sympathy but his feelings for the woman didn’t change he felt even closer to her now longing desperately to be near her to touch her hair and hold her body. Rooskie’s headed out the door while the woman unleashed on him and he could hear his bicycle being thrown into the back of the van. Rooskie rushed back in and put his large hand on the back of Johnny’s neck leading him out the door with force. When they reached the door Rooskie gave him a push and Johnny stumbled but didn’t fall.  He was terrified to get into the van with Rooskie but Rooskie forced him inside while the woman standing at the door commanded his obedience. She told him to meet her in two days at the same spot on the beach as before in Venice but this time at midnight.

Johnny sat silent in the van as Rooskie drove him back to Trisha’s house. Rooskie stared ahead the whole time his grip on the wheel tightening now and then as he tried to hold in his ferocity. He knew that the scam with this pitiful excuse for a man was a good one and they had already made some good money from it. The woman would never forgive him for doing Johnny unless he had a good reason. Finding him in the house in the woman’s room was one opportunity and he knew this idiot would give him others. Putting his hands around his scrawny neck he knew that he would be able to snap it as easy as a chicken neck. But he wanted more when he ended Johnny.  As Rooskie continued driving thoughts came in an out of his mind of ways to torture and kill him and clenching the wheel helped him stay in control.  When they arrived a Trisha’s apartment Rooskie was relieved he had been able to get him there without losing it; the sight of Johnny infuriated him.

As soon as Rooskie had Johnny out of the van he hurried back to the house panicking now about his trunks. He didn’t know how long Johnny had been in the house once he had arrived and worried incessantly the entire way back that Johnny had breached one of the seals of his trunks or even worse that he had looked inside.  Rooskie believed his trunks were magical protecting him from ever being caught for bringing out his beast now and then onto the world.  The seals were made of tar mixed with special items that Rooskie used to create his magic.  He could only break the seals at a special time when a replacement trunk was required for the magic to keep working.  Rooskie sometimes needed extra releases of his beast but he knew that patience was the key to live his life as he wanted.  Reaching the house his anxiety continued until he had completed his examination of each trunk.  As relief overcame him he heard the woman’s voice and knew she was talking to the DJ; their latest scam with Johnny.  He didn’t like that scam and the way Johnny dressed up as a woman for it. Johnny wasn’t a transsexual or even a transvestite he dressed as a woman to go after men and women only to scam them out of money or things and the publicity aspect scared Rooskie. He wanted to keep his privacy and liked living in the shadows. He kept his contacts limited to stay safer and he rarely had any contacts outside of the criminal world.  This scam had publicity as part of it and even though he knew if Rooskie and the woman stayed far enough away from their contact with Johnny they would be stay safe he was uneasy relying on Johnny. Rooskie knew Johnny was clearly obsessed by the woman in way that no one he ever knew was with their own mother. This alone made Johnny a threat but it seemed the woman had him under control and she had never failed him in the past. Rookie could also see the woman’s loyalty to him over Johnny, which made him feel more secure. Should there be any real threat to their safety the woman would not object to Rooskie unleashing his beast on Johnny to take care of the problem quickly and they would leave for a new place in this large country.

Rooskie decided he needed sexual release to calm himself down after his experience with Johnny. He had several clubs in Los Angeles that catered to his own unique sexual desires allowing them to be easily fulfilled costing him only a couple of drinks or some coke to get it going on.  There were always enough people to choose from whenever he went and Rooskie felt this was his own special paradise and one of the best parts about America.  The clubs were filled with people that either wanted to have pain inflicted to be sexually fulfilled or they needed to inflict pain to get there.  Sometimes he would find his chosen quickly and other times it took a few more drinks or lines to get there.  Once in a while a tourist would come in and he loved to find them and bring them down into his domination for the first time. Rooskie knew the time he gave no one forgot and he knew they never expected either from him. He didn’t dress the part his look was casual and silky not black leather.

He finished dressing smoothed back his hair and headed out. When he passed the woman she glanced at him still talking to the DJ as if he was an old friend. Rooskie didn’t know how the woman knew this man but the way they were talking on the phone he thought she must have met him sometime before Rooskie knew her.  He glanced back and left. He didn’t need to do anymore with the woman this was a special relationship like no other Rooskie had with anyone before.  Now and again he wanted to have sex with the woman but he knew he needed to keep this part of himself separate from her to keep the relationship intact.

As he drove down Hollywood Blvd. he checked in on a few of the prostitutes he gave protection to and to do collections. He wasn’t like other pimps because he didn’t have sex with his prostitutes or beat or abuse them. It was a pure business relationship when it came to them.  Other prostitutes would try to get under his protection but he liked to keep it down to a select few that made money, were smarter and didn’t cause too much trouble. They all paid him every week and reported any trouble when it occurred and now and again he rewarded them with a trip together. Other pimps in the area weren’t threatened because they knew Rooskie wanted to stay a small player and he had a heavy reputation in their world that made him not worth the trouble for the minor profits lost. They knew Rooskie just liked having a few girls but this wasn’t his focus.

When Rooskie arrived at The Cave, his club pick for tonight, he could hear the music roaring out the entrance door its hard thumping bass energizing him. The club was already crowded and he knew he would find his chosen quickly and he was pleased.
