Just can’t seem to get out of this funk today
Works been hard and I want to play
Just hasn’t been enough play these days
Toiling through has become the mainstay
Making everyone turn prematurely grey
But with all this job chaos
Feels like any time off will upset the toss
Too much work to do because less must do more
Can’t resist or complain to the boss
Can’t afford the potential cost
Without a job you get lost
Ok just a funk today
Taking some time to play
Tomorrow back into the game
Ride it hard to the long end of the day
