Cortez Wears Yellow
Cortez was a burly fellow
Always wore clothes of yellow
Every day his wide mouth bellowed
I’m sick and tired of being this type of fellow!
I want a change!
I’m feeling strange!
He seemed somewhat deranged
Walking down every street in town
He bellowed and bellowed
30 days and 30 nights followed
Until finally on the day after tomorrow
Came the day of fateful sorrow
Poor Cortez didn’t get a magical fairy
Change his life from cow pies to dairy
Didn’t find his way out from despair
All that screaming he ran out of air
Died in the street right over there
Everyone who was there stared
At Cortez who got snared
In despair
Wondered if they’d end up there
Or whether the magical fairy would care
Save them from despair
Suddenly a colorful clown appeared
Took Cortez’s head and ripped off his ears
The people all started to sneer
Blamed Cortez for drinking beer
Everyone began to cheer
Everyone then joined into the cause
Ripped Cortez up with saws
The clown sat laughing in his bloody stage
Feeling pride for creating the rage
A giant earthquake suddenly occurred
Threw all those people and the clown
Down into middle earth
This wasn’t the place of rebirth
Devils lived in that deep dirt
Cortez on the other hand
Went up to join heaven’s band
Where he found his true hearts passion
And developed a further flare for fashion
